The woods in November can be gloomy.  It can also be cold, wet, windy and full of snow.  But the Camera Club, in a bubble of goodwill from Mother Nature, escaped the normal November destiny.  The sun came out!  In the shelter of the pines and cedars, the wind dropped off. Down the trail we went, searching for chickadees and nuthatches, woodpeckers and finches.

I think we looked darn good, too!  It might have been the last piece of good weather before the long winter sets in, so I am thrilled I had the chance to wander around in the outdoors with my Camera Club friends.
