Remember to bring your tripod and macro or zoom lens. We will have a number of still life stations where you can play with composition, lighting, and depth of field.

January 9

Looking forward to seeing everyone at our first meeting of 2017. Please bring your camera as we will be learning about, playing with, and practicing focus. Our modern cameras have so many options that sometimes it is easier to just shoot in automatic rather than try to learn the details. This will a good opportunity to learn how your camera works best for you.

Summer is here

We have some great summer themes coming up – Macro in July and Action in August. At our meeting on July 13 we will have Mel Diotte teach us about macro photography and have lots of time to practise. August 8 is the Exeter Rodeo which will provide a great venue for taking some real action shots. At our meeting on July 27th Lynn Wilbur will give us a heads-up on how to capture some great shots when we get to the Rodeo.

Focus on Learning

Getting ready for 2015.

We are just putting the finishing touches on our 2015 program and will announce it here before long.

Our general plan will be similar to 2014. The second Monday of the month will be our program meeting. In addition to a guest speaker we will have a 15 minute “Focus on Learning” session. This will be geared to our more novice photographers but should be a good refresher for our more experienced members.

Details to follow by the end of December.

Have a great Christmas and we will see you on January 12!
