About PFCC

The Port Franks and Area Camera Club was formed in June of 2010 by a small group of photo enthusiasts. We have since grown to over 30 members.  Our meetings are relaxed and informal, open to chatting and companionship.  You are welcome to attend a couple of meetings before you decide if you would like to join. Membership fees are $40 per year.

The PF Camera Club is open to adults 16 years of age and over.  Younger members are welcome, with their parent or guardian.

This is the place for all photographers, regardless of skill level. We have something for everyone, from novice to knowledgeable.

The PF Camera Club uses www.flickr.com/groups/pfcameraclub as its photo-sharing site.  Once you have registered and become a member, you will be issued an invitation to join the PF Camera Club Flickr group.  To do this, you must first join Flickr at www.flickr.com.  When you upload your photos to Flickr, they will first go into your “Photostream”.  You must then use the “Add to Group” option to add them to the Camera Club’s group page.

Feel free to post as many photos of your own as you wish, for everyone to enjoy online at home.  If you are posting photos from a Walkabout or Challenge, please tag your shots with the theme name, and limit yourself to your 3 best shots, so we have time to see & discuss everyone’s photos during the next meeting.

Thanks to The Grand Bend and Area Rotary Club who helped our Club with their generous donation.  We would also like to express our appreciation for the support of the Port Franks Branch of the Lambton County Library and the Port Franks Optimist Club.
