President Lynn has been busy over the past few months and arranged for two major events for the area.

In conjunction with the Grand Bend Arts Centre the Camera Club is sponsoring a presentation on April 22 by photographer Neil Ever Osborne. This will be open to the public and will be held at the Southcott Pines Clubhouse from 2 – 4 pm. Neil will talk about his photographic journeys in a presentation entitled “People, Planet, & Protected Places”.

To help generate an awareness of photography and engage the unfettered minds of our youngsters the Camera Club is sponsoring an all day workshop for children 8 – 16. The workshop will be presented by a team of trained volunteers working under the banner of Focus on Nature. The kids will be provided with cameras and spend the morning learning about photography and taking pictures. In the afternoon they will be given instruction and equipment to post-process their images. For more information see our website. This will be held on April 28 and pre-registration is required.
